Founder & President

Hi everyone, my name is Haru.
I’m a Year 12 student at Chinese International School, and I’m the founder of 4HOME.

I started 4HOME after realizing that food is more than something we consume—it’s a way people carry their culture, memories, and sense of home with them. While exploring underrepresented cuisines and listening to the stories behind them, I saw how often these narratives go unnoticed, even in a city as diverse as Hong Kong. 4HOME grew from a desire to create space for those stories to be seen, shared, and valued.

Outside of 4HOME, I enjoy debating and writing poetry—both of which shape how I think about voice, storytelling, and connection.

Vice President & Outreach Coordinator

Hi everyone, I’m Elyse Luong.
I’m a Year 12 student at Chinese International School and serve as the Vice President and Outreach Coordinator for 4HOME. I joined 4HOME because I’m passionate about highlighting underrepresented communities in Hong Kong and creating spaces where their stories can be shared and celebrated.

Outside of 4HOME, I enjoy playing netball and basketball, as well as spending time with my friends and family.

Lucas Chen @lucass.chenn

Hi everyone, I’m Lucas Chen.
I’m a Year 12 student at Chinese International School and serve as the Finance Director & Head of Media for 4HOME, managing the organization’s finances while leading media promotion and filming efforts.

I joined 4HOME to combine my passions and skills to make a meaningful impact on society. Through my love for filmmaking and continuous learning, I aim to support and uplift my local community.

Beyond my role at 4Home, I am deeply passionate about basketball and mathematics, which continue to inspire and challenge me.

Hi everyone, I’m Jacob Lam.
I’m a Year 12 student at Chinese International School and serve as Head of Media for 4HOME.

I joined 4HOME because I want to be able to use my skills and passion for videography and filmmaking to create videos for social media that would in turn, help share the message that food does not just fuel our bodies, but also helps different cultures share their backgrounds with the world.

Outside of 4HOME, I love to play basketball, volleyball, football, American football and frisbee.

Hi everyone, I’m Lily Liang.
I’m a Year 13 student at Chinese International School, and I’m thrilled to serve as 4HOME’s Senior Advisor. I hope to celebrate Hong Kong’s diversity by creating welcoming spaces where people from different backgrounds can feel seen and build meaningful connections.

In my free time, I enjoy theatre, debate, and playing frisbee. These hobbies have helped me find communities of my own and shown me how shared interests can bring people together!
