Hi everyone, my name is Andrea.

I’m a secondary 4 student studying at Diocesan Girls’ School and I’m the Chapter Lead for DGS. I was keen on joining 4HOME as I resonate a lot with the idea of putting emphasis on the overlooked cultures and stories behind food we consume every day.

The climate, local specialties, cultural traditions and the environment of our upbringing all shape the food we prefer eating and making. The idea of food nowadays may have been reduced to mere viral trends to recreate or “just another meal to keep myself alive” but I believe it can be the foundation of spreading messages far more meaningful than that. 4HOME is the perfect platform to do so and as a huge enthusiast on eating and making good food, I’m immensely looking forward to working with these likeminded individuals, paying back respect to the society with what I am capable of.

Outside of 4HOME, you will most likely see me munching on good food, playing hockey, doing crafts, sewing, hiking, taking photos, hanging out with friends and family… the list could go on forever just always down for fun!
